President Roosevelt’s New Deal was a comprehensive and unprecedented series of economic and social programs which sought to provide immediate relief to the suffering population, stimulate economic recovery, and institute reforms to prevent future economic crises.

One key aspect of the relief efforts was the establishment of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1933. The CCC employed young men in conservation projects, offering them employment, food, and shelter and paychecks to be sent home to help their families.

To address economic recovery, the National Recovery Administration (NRA) aimed to regulate industry practices, establish fair wages and working conditions, and promote cooperation between businesses and labor.

The Social Security Act of 1935 was a pivotal reform that aimed to provide long-term security for Americans. It included unemployment insurance, aid for dependent children, and assistance for the elderly.
The New Deal, initiated during the administration of President Roosevelt, aimed to provide relief, stimulate recovery, and institute reforms with the goal of ending the Great Depression.
