About Me:

The very first topic that made me consider becoming a history teacher was the Progressive Era. I loved the idea that regular people could impact the governmental process to create positive change. So while I don’t prescribe to a Progressive interpretation of history, I love the idea that as teachers we are looking back at the past to move society forward. 

Now having more than a decade of experience teaching AP US History, I'm spreading my reach outside of my four classroom walls. I've graded the AP US History exams for 6 years, have a Master's in American History and a Master's in Education: Curriculum and Instruction, and have a 90%+ pass rate with the dozens of students I tutor. Hundreds of teachers across the country have purchased my AP US History materials to use in their own classrooms and now I hope to directly support more students as they navigate this difficult course.
